Turn On the player with no disc in the drive and press Set-up
Using the volume buttons on the remote press Plus, Minus, Plus and Minus
At the top of the TV screen Ver 2 will be displayed, indicating that the player is currently set as Region 2
Using the Left and Right keys change the region code from 1 to 6 or 255 for region free

Ensure the players tray is empty and closed
On the Remote press Setup
Using the Front Panel press Next, Stop, Pause/Step, Prev and Next
You should now see a new menu
Go to Select Region and make your choice
Multi-Region Hack 2:
Press Setup
Press the volume + and - keys alternating until you see VER # (# is your current Region code)
Use the Cursor keys to choose VER 255 (Region free)
Press Setup
Multi-Region Hack 3:
Press Setup
Press Next, Prev, Next and Prev
Then you will find the menu. It says 'ver x'. x is you Region code. Press PREV until x=255 for Region free mode
Press Setup
Multi-Region Hack 4:
Empty Tray
On the remote press Setup, Next, Prev, Next and Prev
On Right Upper Corner will be written Ver#
Press Left or Right to get to number 255 (which is for region free - these
version numbers correspond to region number)
