Hack Details for your SM SUPERVISION DVD, Blu-Ray or HD DVD Player

SM SUPERVISION SM 1000, SM 1100
Ensure no disc is in the player
On the remote press Set-up, Step, Previous and Next
Enter the displayed service menu
You can view or set the required region (select Bypass for all regions), Css auto/off and Macrovision.

SM SUPERVISION SM 2000
Make sure you have no disc in the player
Press 7, 7 and Enter
Enter the displayed service menu
You can now view and change the region ID (set Bypass for all regions), Css auto/off and Macrovision.

SM SUPERVISION SM 2100
Open tray and press Set-up, Next, Stop, Pause/Step, Previous and Next
This brings up a service menu where you can select the required region or set it to Bypass for region free

SM SUPERVISION SM 2200
Press, Set-up, Vol-, Vol+, Vol- and Vol+
Display now shows Vol# (where # is the current region)
Change to Vol255 with < > or /\ \/ for Codefree

SM SUPERVISION SM 2400, SM 2500
Open the tray
Type 9, 9, 9 and 9 on the remote
Press the OK key until the region code you want appears (9 is code free)
Close the tray

What To Do If Your Player Is Not Listed Here Yet.

If one of these hacks does work for you then GREAT! please leave us feedback and let us know on our forum :) However, If you have tried and tried this hack till your blue in the face and you STILL cant get that region 1 copy of 'Michael Flatley's Lord of the dance' to work then you still have a few options:

Use DVD hacks to search all other internet resources for your hack by entert your player model number below:

OPTION 2

Post your problem on the forum and we will try and help.

OPTION 3

Consider using a UK based online rental company for your DVD's such as or who have a fabulous range of movies to rent with no late return fees and a free trial. Its much cheaper to do it this way than to wait for sky digital or buy region 2 or 1 films from the internet.
