SAMPO DVD-320, DVD-360, DVD-520, DVD-K535, DVD-K565, DVD-560 AND DVD-620
To see what version of the firmware your player is using:
Press the Setup button on your Remote Control
Press the buttons 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the Remote
You should now see the firmware version date
Converting this player to all region:
Press the Setup button on your remote control.
Using the onscreen menu, select the Preferences option.
Press the Still/Step button on your remote control.
Press the Prev button on your remote control.
Press the Next button on your remote control.
You will now enter the hidden setup page, and can change the player to any Region or set it to Region Free. You can also disable Macrovision from this menu.
Please note the following if you have a very new Sampo DVD player, although note that this MAY or MAY NOT be relevant to the DVD-620:

Checking the firmware revision:
Press Setup then enter 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 on the Remote Control
To change Region:
Press Setup then enter 3, 8, 8, 8, 3 on the Remote Control
Enter the required region ID or Bypass (Will Play ALL Regions except some Region Code Enhanced Discs)
Setting CSS and Macrovision:
Press Setup then enter 5, 9, 0, 4, 1, 9 on the Remote Control
The CSS can be enabled or disabled
The MACROVISION can be enabled or disabled
Adjusting PAL/NTSC Modes:
Press Setup then enter 7, 2, 5, 5, 5 on the Remote Control
If the above modification fails to work then you may wish to try the modification for the Sampo DVD-520 above.
