Hack Details for your REOC DVD, Blu-Ray or HD DVD Player
REOC A3
Turn on the player.
Press OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc drawer.
Enter the passwords 8421 or 9999, then you will see the current region code on the screen.
Select the different region codes by pressing ENTER continuously. The region free code is 9
Press OPEN/ CLOSE button again to close the disc drawer.

A short file needs to be created on a CD.
You will need at least the following in order to do this yourself:
A reasonable spec PC capable of burning CD-R or CD-RW
A CD burner
1 Blank CD-R or CD-RW
Software For Burning Your CD-R or CD-RW

Procedure
Open a simple text editor and start with a new blank page. Type the exactly the following TSDVDREG-2001-8608201-R0
Save as a file called CREGIN.TXT.
Using your chosen burning software, burn this file to a CD-R or CD-RW. Insert the freshly made disc into the A5 DVD player and after a short while R0 will appear on the front title screen.
Your A5 is now region free and will play films from any region.

Enter the password(s) 8, 4, 2, 1 or 9, 9, 9, 9, you will then see the current region code on the screen
Select a Region code by pressing Enter continuously. The Region free code is 9
Press the Open/Close button again to close the disc drawer
The process of selecting a Region code is now completed
VCD Hack:
Turn the player On
Press the Open/Close button to open the disc drawer
Enter 5, 1, 6 and 8
Screen will now report that VCD playback is possible

Open a text editor and start with a new blank page. Type the exactly the following:
TSDVDREG-2001-8608201-R0
Select File, Save and call the file CREGIN.TXT
Using your CD Burning software, burn this file to a CD-R or CD-RW
Insert the freshly made disc into the A5 DVD player and after a short while R0 will appear on the front title screen

Press the Open so the tray is ejected
Press the Setup to enter the setup menu
Press 1, 3, 6, 9, Left, Left, Left, Right
The player will show a Version Setup item in the menu
Press Step, Previous, Next
The player should now be multi-region
