Hack Details for your PIONEER DVD, Blu-Ray or HD DVD Player

PIONEER DV-505
With no DVD in the tray, Press MENU, select INITIAL, press DISPLAY, press CONDITION. Then input the number of the zone you want.

PIONEER DV-C302D, DV-626
Press SETUP
Now go all the way to the right
press ENTER on the last tab (If it is set to expert, change to basic) Now press DISPLAY
It will show what region it is on.
Press CONDITION MEMORY then either 1 2 3 4 5 6 for the region you want.
Press DISPLAY again to make sure it changed.
Exit and play disc!

PIONEER DCS-100
1. Press Setup DVD button.
2. If in Setup Navigator, press Return to exit.
3. Goto General tab.
4. Highlight Basic mode.
5. While Basic is highlighted, press SHIFT + DVD Disp buttons simultaneously.
6. A line showing the region code and EPROM version will appear on the TV (proceed only if this works).
7. Press SHIFT + CONDITION buttons followed immediately by the region code number you want.
8. Verify the new region code by repeating step 5.

PIONEER DV-333, DV-343, DV-37, DV-535, DV-717, DVL-909
1. Make sure there is no disc in the player's tray.
2. Press Setup on the remote control.
3. Move over to General using the arrow keys.
4. Select Basic.
5. Press Display, which should show the current region and firmware revision.
6. Press Condition/Memory, which should not change anything.
7. Press the number of the region you require.
8. Press Menu to store the region.

PIONEER DV-37
Turn On unit and remove any disc in the tray
Press the Setup button on the remote control.
Move over to General using the arrow keys
Select Basic
Press Display - this will display your region and firmware version.
Press Condition/Memory (nothing is displayed or changed on the screen)
Press the Region # required (i.e. 2 for Region 2 etc)
Press Menu to store

Turn On with no disc in
On the remote control, press Setup
Select General (certify that the Setup is on Basic).
Press Display
Press Condition
Choose region code and quit Setup

Turn On unit and remove any disc in the tray
Press the Setup button on the remote control.
Move over to General using the arrow keys
Select Basic
Press Display - this will display your region and firmware version.
Press Condition/Memory (nothing is displayed or changed on the screen)
Press the Region # required (i.e. 2 for Region 2 etc)
Press Menu to store

What To Do If Your Player Is Not Listed Here Yet.

If one of these hacks does work for you then GREAT! please leave us feedback and let us know on our forum :) However, If you have tried and tried this hack till your blue in the face and you STILL cant get that region 1 copy of 'Michael Flatley's Lord of the dance' to work then you still have a few options:

Use DVD hacks to search all other internet resources for your hack by entert your player model number below:

OPTION 2

Post your problem on the forum and we will try and help.

OPTION 3

Consider using a UK based online rental company for your DVD's such as or who have a fabulous range of movies to rent with no late return fees and a free trial. Its much cheaper to do it this way than to wait for sky digital or buy region 2 or 1 films from the internet.
