open tray, type in 8421 and select ALL
To hack macrovision :
open tray, type in 4561 and disable

On the remote control press the following…
Press Open/Close (So tray is open and remains open)
Press Clear
Press 1
Press 3
Press 6
Press 9
Press 0
(This last digit denotes region code 0 = Region Free. To switch back to region 2 exchange the 0 for 2)

Press Open/Close to open the players tray
Key in 8, 4, 2 and 1 on the Remote Control
Press Enter to cycle through the Regions or press until 9 appears for Region free operation
Press Open/Close

Open the players drawer
Key in 9, 9, 9 and 9 on the Remote Control
The player should now be Region free
Macrovision Hack:
Open the tray
Key in 4, 5, 6, 1 and 0
Press Enter

Post your problem on the forum and we will try and help.
OPTION 3
Consider using a UK based online rental company for your DVD's such as or who have a fabulous range of movies to rent with no late return fees and a free trial. Its much cheaper to do it this way than to wait for sky digital or buy region 2 or 1 films from the internet.
