Hack Details for your LOGIX DVD, Blu-Ray or HD DVD Player

LOGIX DVD-3000
To convert this player to Multi-Region on later firmware versions

1. Press the Open button on your remote control
2. Press the Setup button on your remote control
3. Press the 9 button on your remote control for Region Free, or 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2, and so on.
4. Press the buttons 2, 0, 1 and then 0 on your remote control in order, one at a time
NB: If this doesn't work, you should try pressing the buttons 3, 0, 1 and then 0 instead
5. Press the Step button on your remote control
6. Press the Shuffle button on your remote control
7. Press the Next button on your remote control

To check the current region setting of this player on later firmware versions

1. Press the Open button on your remote control
2. Press the Setup button on your remote control
3. Press the Shuffle button on your remote control
4. Press the Step button on your remote control
5. Press the Next button on your remote control
6. A secret menu will appear, inside which you can scroll down until the words Debug Item appears, where the current region status is displayed
To fix low sound output volumes when connecting to your TV via SCART on later firmware versions
1. Press the Setup button on your remote control
2. Press the Stop button on your remote control
3. Press the Step button on your remote control
4. Press the Angle button on your remote control
5. The word RFOUT will appear on screen briefly and the sound will now have been adjusted to normal levels
6. A secret menu will appear, inside which you can scroll down until the words Debug Item appears, where the current region status is displayed

To convert this player to Multi-Region on earlier firmware versions

1. Press the Setup button on your remote control
2. Press the Title button on your remote control
3. Press the Step button on your remote control
4. Press the Next button on your remote control
5. Using the Up and Down buttons on your remote, select the region of your choice or Bypass for region free
6. Save and then Exit the menu

Press the Open button on the Remote Control
Press the Setup button
Press the Shuffle button
Press the Step button

Low Sound Output Fix:

Press the Setup button on the Remote Control
Press the Stop button
Press the Step button
Press the Angle button

Open the players tray and leave it open
Enter the Setup Menu
Select Custom (the last option on the Setup Menu)
Key in 3, 3, 3, 3 (4 numbers)
Select your code choice (Press 0 for Multi-Region)
Press Enter
Press Setup
When the play all region options has been selected the player still appears to handle RCE titles such as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

LOGIX DVD-3300D
Power On the Player
Press Open/Close button on the remote once
Press Setup Button
Press the Blue Right Arrow button 4 times to Custom Setup menu
Press 3 Button 4 times
Press the Blue Right Arrow button Once
Move Up and Down to select your desired region code, Code 0 represents Auto-Region, and press Enter button
Press Setup button to save settings

What To Do If Your Player Is Not Listed Here Yet.

If one of these hacks does work for you then GREAT! please leave us feedback and let us know on our forum :) However, If you have tried and tried this hack till your blue in the face and you STILL cant get that region 1 copy of 'Michael Flatley's Lord of the dance' to work then you still have a few options:

Use DVD hacks to search all other internet resources for your hack by entert your player model number below:

OPTION 2

Post your problem on the forum and we will try and help.

OPTION 3

Consider using a UK based online rental company for your DVD's such as or who have a fabulous range of movies to rent with no late return fees and a free trial. Its much cheaper to do it this way than to wait for sky digital or buy region 2 or 1 films from the internet.
