1. Turn the player on
2. Press OPEN/CLOSE
3. Press SETUP
4. Press 8, 8, 8, 8
5. Press NEXT
6. Go to version and select RC (0=codefree)
7. Press PLAY

DURABRAND DUR7
1. Power on
2. Open tray
3. Use remote and enter 81328
4. Press enter until region 9 appears on screens
5. Press play
6. Close tray
You should now be multi-region

DURABRAND DUR10
1.) Turn the unit on.
2.) Open the tray.
3.) Using the remote, enter the code: 81328
4.) Upon entering the last number, a Region Code box appears.
5.) Press Enter on the remote to cycle through the codes.
6.) The codes are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9. Code 9 is All-Region.
7.) Close the tray when you are finished, and the code is saved.

DURABRAND DUR1700
1. Turn on the player - you may need a disc in the player to access the preferences menu.
2. Press SETUP
3. Go to Preferences
4. Press PLAY
5. Enter 251535
6. Press LEFT, DOWN
7. The current region code will be displayed
8. Press 0 for region free

DURABRAND DVD1000, DVD1002 & DVD2005
1. Press the Open button on your DVD player to open the drive lid
2. Press the Stop button on your remote control
3. Press the 2 button on your remote control
4. Press the 3 button on your remote control
5. Press the 7 button on your remote control
6. Press the 9 button on your remote control
7. You should now be able to change the region using the Up and Down buttons on your remote control to 1
for region 1, 2 for region 2, and so on, or 0 for multi-region playback. You may need to press OK at this point.
8. Close the drive lid on your DVD player
9. Press the Standby button on your DVD player
PLEASE NOTE....when selecting your region you will need to be quick, as the info on screen will only display
for a few seconds if no buttons are pressed.
Failing that, try:
1. Power ON
2. Open tray
3. Using the remote enter - 359735
4. Set to region 0

DURABRAND DVD1002 (ALTERNATIVE)
1. Power on player.
2. Open lid.
3. Press STOP on remote.
4. Enter the code 9753 on your remote.
5. A 'region code' list will appear on screen.
6. Use the UP/DOWN buttons on your remote to select required region - (0 is multiregional).
7. Press OK on remote.
8. Close lid.

DURABRAND PDV705, PDV709
1. Turn on power.
2. Open lid.
3. Push 9 7 3 5 from the remote.
4. Select 0 using arrow keys.
5. Exit Setup.

DURABRAND PVS1680 / PVS1960 / PVS1966 / PVS1970 / PVS223 / STS75E
1. Turn on the player
2. Open the disc tray
3. Enter 8, 1, 3, 2, 8
4. Select rc using the ENTER button (9 = region free)
5. Press PLAY
6. Close the disc tray

What To Do If Your Player Is Not Listed Here Yet.

If one of these hacks does work for you then GREAT! please leave us feedback and let us know on our forum :) However, If you have tried and tried this hack till your blue in the face and you STILL cant get that region 1 copy of 'Michael Flatley's Lord of the dance' to work then you still have a few options:

Use DVD hacks to search all other internet resources for your hack by entert your player model number below:

OPTION 2

Post your problem on the forum and we will try and help.

OPTION 3

Consider using a UK based online rental company for your DVD's such as or who have a fabulous range of movies to rent with no late return fees and a free trial. Its much cheaper to do it this way than to wait for sky digital or buy region 2 or 1 films from the internet.
