Hack Details for your DECCA DVD, Blu-Ray or HD DVD Player
DECCA DV-2110, DV-5100
Press Setup on the Remote
Press Stop, Previous and Next on the front panel of the player
You should now be in a secret menu where you can change the Region from 1 to 6, or Bypass for Region free
You can also disable Macrovision from this menu

Press Setup on remote
Press Fast Forward
Press Previous followed by Next (You can use the front panel or the remote for this second part)
A Factory Settings page will be displayed which contains four sub-menus

Using the remote press Eject and leave tray Open
Press Setup, 4, 9, 5, 4 and 0/10
Version will appear at bottom of Setup menu
Highlight Version and press Play
Select Region 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 0 for multi-region

Power on the unit and open the DVD door by pressing
the Open button on the front panel
Press Setup
Use Remote Control to enter the following numbers 3, 3, 0, 8, 8
You will see in the top left of the screen **** appear
Key in a number corresponding to the Region you desire your player to be set to, i.e. 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2 and so on, use 0 for Region free

DECCA DDV-2120
1. Open tray to make sure no disc inside
2. Press SETUP
3. Move cursor down to highlight to the preferences bar
4. Press 4, 9, 5, 4, 0 in rapid succession
The current version will be displayed
5. Move cursor down to highlight version bar
6. Press PLAY, then right arrow key to highlight version number
7. Use UP/DOWN keys to set the version number
8. Press PLAY, SETUP
Failing that, try the following sequence:
1. Press SETUP on REMOTE
2. Press PLAY on PLAYER
3. Press STOP on PLAYER
4. Press REV on PLAYER
5. Press FWD on PLAYER
6. Press PREVIOUS on PLAYER - if player does not have Previous button then use the previous button
symbol on the remote. (This applied to me).
7. Press NEXT on PLAYER - as above if no next button on player.
YOU ARE NOW IN THE FACTORY SETTINGS PAGE WHERE YOU CAN AMEND REGION CODES. I

OPTION 3
Consider using a UK based online rental company for your DVD's such as or who have a fabulous range of movies to rent with no late return fees and a free trial. Its much cheaper to do it this way than to wait for sky digital or buy region 2 or 1 films from the internet.
