Hack Details for your DAYTEK DVD, Blu-Ray or HD DVD Player

DAYTEK DVD-707
Press Setup on the remote
Press 1, 3, 6, 9, 8, 8, 8 and 8
On the screen a new Version item should appear
Use the remote Down key and select Version by pressing Play
Use the Right Arrow to go to the number displayed in the submenu that appears
Use the Up/Down keys on the remote to select 0 for all regions
You may have to press Play on remote again or use the left arrow
Press Setup again

1 Leave DVD tray open
2 Press 'source' on remote to select an input other than TV (Front AV or Rear AV are both OK)
3 Press '7', '7' - then region code in sequence to unlock the desired region. Code '0' turns the machine into
region free.
4 REGION FREE or the selected region code will show up at the bottom of screen to indicate the success
of code change.
To show the firmware version, input '7', '7', enter on remote.

What To Do If Your Player Is Not Listed Here Yet.

If one of these hacks does work for you then GREAT! please leave us feedback and let us know on our forum :) However, If you have tried and tried this hack till your blue in the face and you STILL cant get that region 1 copy of 'Michael Flatley's Lord of the dance' to work then you still have a few options:

Post your problem on the forum and we will try and help.

OPTION 3

Consider using a UK based online rental company for your DVD's such as or who have a fabulous range of movies to rent with no late return fees and a free trial. Its much cheaper to do it this way than to wait for sky digital or buy region 2 or 1 films from the internet.
