Hack Details for your DANTAX DVD, Blu-Ray or HD DVD Player
DANTAX DVD-450
Eject tray and press 7, 7 and Select on the remote
This will bring up a secret menu where you can set the region (13 for all) and disable Macrovision
MULTI REGION DVD PLAYERS CAN BE BOUGHT ONLINE FOR JUST A FEW POUNDS. CLICK HERE FOR MORE
DANTAX DVD-1000
Open Tray
On remote control press 9, 9, 2, 6 and 0
Close Tray and power Off
Turn power On again after approximately 1 minute
The DVD player will now recognise all regions

Open the tray
Type 9, 9, 9, 9, and x where x is the required region
Close the tray

Consider using a UK based online rental company for your DVD's such as or who have a fabulous range of movies to rent with no late return fees and a free trial. Its much cheaper to do it this way than to wait for sky digital or buy region 2 or 1 films from the internet.
