Press the 9, 4, Shuffle, Stop and Mute buttons on your remote control
To Set a Specific Region
Press the Open, Stop, Shuffle buttons on your remote control to Open the disc tray
Press the 1 button on your remote control for region 1, 2 for region 2, and so on

To make region 0
- Number 9 Button
- Number 4 Button
- Shuffle Button
- Stop Button
- Mute Button
To enter specific regions ONLY use for region enhanced disks:
- Open the disk tray first to ensure it works
- Stop Button
- Shuffle Button
- Region number of the DVD discs sold in that region (eg for region 4, press the number 4 button)

1. Initialize the Media Centre:
To initialize the media centre so its region code can be changed, place a DVD in the unit and select DVD.
After the system displays Invalid Region Code, press the following buttons in the sequence below on the
media centre's remote control.
• Right Navigation Arrow
• Up Navigation Arrow
• Shuffle Button
• Stop Button
• Mute Button
2. Set the Region Code:
With the Media Centre on, open the DVD tray and insert a DVD disc. While the DVD tray is open, press the
following buttons in the sequence below on the media centre's remote control.
• Stop Button
• Shuffle Button
• Region number of the DVD disc you inserted in the tray (i.e. for region 4, press the number 4 button)
• Enter
Failing that, try the following sequence:
1. Put in a Wrong region coded disc
2. Wait for the Wrong disk message to appear
3. Press on the remote
- Right button
- Up button
- Shuffle button
- Stop button
- Hold the Mute button pressed until tray ejects and goes back in - this may take some time

1. Insert a DVD with the desired region
2. Press and hold the PLAY key for 30 seconds or more then let go of the PLAY button
3. Enter 9, 9, 9
4. To change back do the same again but use the code 0, 0, 0

Consider using a UK based online rental company for your DVD's such as or who have a fabulous range of movies to rent with no late return fees and a free trial. Its much cheaper to do it this way than to wait for sky digital or buy region 2 or 1 films from the internet.
