3,USE THE REMOTE,KEY IN 1,3,6,AND 9 THEN IMMEDIATELY PRESS THE LEFT NAVIGATION ARROW 3 TIMES FOLLOWED BY THE RIGHT ARROW ONCE
4,NOW YOU WILL SEE A NEW OPTION ONSCREEN NAMED VERSION.

I thought that by now you would have come up with an unlock code for my DVD/VCR combo.
However, not to worry. I have obtained the code which is as follows:
Using the remote control
1. Open the player's drawer
2. Key in 2,8,1,2
3. On the displayed menu select the desired Region code using the enter button
