Hack Details for your AMW DVD, Blu-Ray or HD DVD Player

AMW M270 & M510
These are sometimes referred to as P270s & P510s
To change the region code:
1. Make sure there is not a DVD in the drive
2. Power on the device
3. Press Setup on the remote control
4. Hit the right arrow key three times to scroll to the preferences tab
5. Hit 1379 on the remote control
6. Region code will appear. Scroll up/down with arrows to cho
7. Press play

What To Do If Your Player Is Not Listed Here Yet.

Consider using a UK based online rental company for your DVD's such as or who have a fabulous range of movies to rent with no late return fees and a free trial. Its much cheaper to do it this way than to wait for sky digital or buy region 2 or 1 films from the internet.
