I placed this in the wrong section earlier. sorry.

After about 20mins of not being able to find this particular model I just started randomly plugging in codes from other phillips players. It worked so easy I had to check ALL my non 1-region DVDs to to make sure it actually happened.

1. Turn on the player
2. Open the loading tray
3. Press the "Setup" button on the remote
4. Go to the  "Preferences" page using the right arrow key
5. Enter 138931 with slight pauses in between
(it probably doesn't matter but its what i did)
6. region code prompt is then displayed
7. Use the Up arrow key to select "0" for all regions
8. Press the "OK" button on the remote

Thanks to whomever posted the one I accidentally found this one on. I greatly appreciate it. Though I assume this may only work on Phillips DVP models. peace and good luck.
